before darkwick.
like luca, they're a transfer student from a different branch of the academy, namely the american branch. however, being the only ghoul in that branch, they requested a transfer. they arrived as a second year at darkwick's university right before the Clash broke out.

when asked what they wished for to become a ghoul, they quickly change the subject.
stigma.
xyr stigma has made xem known as the pied piper, though this isn't a name xe appears to adopt happily.

usage: those who can hear xem sing are physically drawn toward them until the singing stops. this works on both anomalies, other ghouls and humans.

drawback: speaking regularly, most of the time, makes xem physically ill. most of the time, they communicate by other means - but whispering also allows them to speak without negative side effects.
house history.
originally placed involuntarily in vagastrom in order to curtail and deal with any violent outbreaks in the Pit using xyr stigma. before the Clash, they requested a transfer to dionysia, but when the house became defunct, they decided to transfer to mortkranken.

even though they're no longer a vagastrom ghoul, many of the students of that house respect them.
on missions.
on dorm missions, their stigma is particularly helpful. when a physical anomaly is present, it's easy to draw it toward themself and capture it. however, with a lack of fighting skills, this comes at a great cost to them and puts them in danger. after transferring to mortkranken, they usually pair the best with jiro during physical fights. they draw in the anomaly and jiro does the fighting, making the duo known as the anglerfish pairing. when the anomaly is not physical in nature but medical, they act more as a nurse and a technician to any lab equipment.
Alan Mido : shortly after joining vagastrom, alan and i started dating each other. we started dating before the Clash occured, and while the chaos pulled some ghouls apart, we comforted each other and became closer. when i became closer to yuri in my third year after transferring, it was alan who first recognized it and suggested a poly relationship to yuri.
Yuri Isami : when i performed at dionysia before it shut down, yuri happened to come to one of my performances, and it was love at first sight for him. he used my unique stigma as an excuse to get closer to me. he was apprehensive about a poly relationship at first, seeing as he has a slight possessive streak, but alan's calm and extremely non-jealous demeanor helps balance and mellow his usual behavior.
Jiro Kirisaki : more than just a platonic connection, but not quite romantic, jiro and i are qpps! i knew him before he went into a coma and folded hundreds of paper cranes for him while he was sick, constantly visiting him. we became close very quickly once he woke up from a coma, and we have a very affectionate relationship without it crossing into romantic. however, jiro still considers it exclusive, and doesn't seek out other partners.
Ren Shiranami : we started out as co-workers at the mystery diner and became fast friends. we game together, text all the time and work many shifts together - both at the diner and when i help out in jabberwock herding anomalous animals! since we're both huge horror fans, we spend a lot of our time watching horror movies together, and we trust each other to talk about anything.
